 I have been teaching at Concord for 10 years. I was fortunate enough to be here in the beginning, take a 6 year leave of absence and return here once again. I have taught K-4 and even some elementary art during those years. Today I am a 3-4 teacher.

 I graduated from Alma College with a major in Arts Education and a minor in Humanities. I then went on to become certified in Elementary Education from Oakland University. I received my masters in the Art of Education through Mary Grove College.

 I love teaching here at Concord where each teacher can put her/his own stamp on their classroom. The integration of the arts is a very important part of our classroom where hands- on and peer interaction is highly encouraged.
